Nicky Webber loves writing books about controversial characters that challenge preconceptions.
“Initially, I worked as a journalist in South Africa and New Zealand, before returning home to Auckland in 1994. I moved into publishing production and operational roles which merged into corporate business management. Trouble was, I missed stretching my creative mind and wished I was writing. In 2015, I decided to go full circle, reverting to my primary passion and wrote my first book, No Ordinary Man. Since then, I’ve published three others, In the Deep End – Book One, In the Deep End – Book Two, and a short story, Push Over. All have received 5-Star ratings from avid readers.
I’m currently working on my fifth novel, Restoration Project, which I expect to finish this year. I’ve already completed 24 chapters, but real life keeps getting in the way! I live, breathe and dream about plots and characters. If I seem distracted, it’s no surprise, I’m always working on the next best book or tapping out a humorous blog.”

The nationwide search kicked off today, with the team looking for an Olympic fan with ultimate mascot skills including trick shots, dance moves, and infectious energy to inspire and amp up the Kiwi supporters and athletes in Paris.
